Unions and management to meet over Superquinn job losses

Unions and management at Superquinn will meet next week for talks on a cost-cutting plan at the supermarket which will result in the loss of 400 jobs around the country.

The company is also closing its Dundalk store because it says it has been adversely affected by people shopping across the border.
