Rape accused threatened to kill boy if he told anybody, court hears

A Wexford man on trial at the Central Criminal Court for the rape and sexual assault of a child allegedly told the then five-year-old boy he would kill him and his mother if he told anybody.

The now 17-year-old boy gave evidence that he was taken out to a workshed by the accused who told him "you remind me of your mother" before removing the boy's clothes and touching his genitals.
