US stimulus plan ‘will have knock-on effect in Ireland’

Ulster Bank is predicting that a new economic stimulus package in the US will help Ireland's economy get back on track.

In a report out today, the bank says it expects every major economy in the world to contract this year, with GDP decreasing by up to 2.5%.
