Man killed in Dublin shooting

A 20-year-old man has been shot dead and two others have been injured in the latest gangland-style gun attack in Dublin.

The incident happened just before midnight last night in the Kilmartin area of Tallaght.

The three men were sitting in a car in the driveway of a house on Kilmartin Drive at the time of the shooting.

Gardaí say the dead man was shot in the upper body.

The two other men, both in their 20s, are in a serious condition in Tallaght Hospital.

The scene of the shooting has been sealed off for technical examination and Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information about the attack to contact them.
