The chief executive of Bank of Ireland, Brian Goggin, has resigned from the job today after five years in the position.

The chief executive of Bank of Ireland, Brian Goggin, has resigned from the job today after five years in the position.

In a statement to the media this morning, Mr Goggin said he felt the time was right for a new chief executive to take over at the company.
