Petrol bomb thrown through window of Belfast house

The PSNI are investigating a petrol bomb attack in west Belfast last night.

The device was thrown through the window of a house in the Springfield road area just before 10pm last night.

A man and a woman were upstairs in the house at the time.

They were taken to hospital for treatment but they are not thought to have serious injuries.

Two men, believed to be in their mid-20s, were seen leaving the scene in a silver saloon.

Police in Belfast are appealing for information.
