The HSE has confirmed that one of its ambulances had to be replaced yesterday while transferring a baby between hospitals in Cork and Dublin.

The HSE has confirmed that one of its ambulances had to be replaced yesterday while transferring a baby between hospitals in Cork and Dublin.

A spokesperson says crew decided to transfer the patient to a different ambulance after they became concerned with a smell on board the vehicle.
