Labour to publish proposals for tackling climate change

The Labour Party is due to publish a bill this afternoon setting out ways to help Ireland meet its commitments on tackling global warming.

The party says it is widely accepted that urgent action is needed to reduce carbon emissions and that the cost of doing nothing will be far higher than the cost of tackling the problem.
