Northern criminals trying to hide cash in Republic

Police in the North say some organised criminals are trying to hide their cash by buying property and opening bank accounts in the Republic.

The PSNI, however, says increasing co-operation with the gardaí is making it harder for criminals to conceal their cash and powerful new legislation is gradually removing any remaining hiding places.
