Labour calls for an early general election

The Labour Party leader has blasted the Government for their handling of the economic recession.

Eamon Gilmore has called for an early General Election and for the current Government to step down in a bid to improve the current crisis.

His call comes as a new political opinion poll shows he is now the most popular leader in the country.

He said the public should be given the opportunity to decide who they want to lead the country.
