Man due in court in connection with rape of 14-year-old

A 38-year-old man is to appear in court in the North charged with the rape of a 14-year-old girl.

A 38-year-old man is to appear in court in the North charged with the rape of a 14-year-old girl.

Detectives from the PSNI's rape crime unit charged the man last night.

The teen was allegedly seriously sexually assaulted in the Toome Street-Corporation street area of Belfast on December 30.

The man is expected to appear before Laganside Magistrates Court later today.
