SF promotes more southerners to leadership roles
Sinn Féin has announced a series of changes to promote more southerners to leadership roles.
West Tyrone MP and MLA Pat Doherty is to stand down as vice-president and will be replaced by Mary Lou McDonald, the party's MEP for the Ireland East constituency.
Dawn Doyle from Wexford is also set to become party secretary, while Maurice Quinliven from Limerick will become joint treasurer.
