Tony Gregory to be laid to rest in Dublin today

Independent TD Tony Gregory is due to be laid to rest today following a funeral mass in Dublin's north inner city.

Mr Gregory passed away on Friday following a year-long battle with stomach cancer.

The 61-year-old had been a TD for Dublin Central since 1982 and was well known for his campaigning against poverty and drugs.

He will be buried at the Old Balgriffin Cemetery following funeral mass at St Agatha's Church on North William Street.
