The number of people visiting Ireland from the UK and the US was down significantly in October 2008 compared to the same month in 2007, according to the latest CSO figures.

The number of people visiting Ireland from the UK and the US was down significantly in October 2008 compared to the same month in 2007, according to the latest CSO figures.

Trips from Great Britain and North America were down by 7% and 12% respectively.
