PSNI hunt rapist after teenager attacked

A rapist was being hunted in the North tonight after an attack on a teenage girl.

The 19-year-old was set upon close to the local cricket club in the Co Tyrone village of Sion Mills at around 4am.

Police investigating the serious sexual assault said it took place close to Old Mill Lane and appealed for anyone in the area at the time who saw anything suspicious in the lane or on the cricket pitch to contact them.
