Gardaí name pedestrian killed on N3

Gardaí have named the woman killed in this morning's crash on the N3 in Cavan.

She was 29-year-old Therese Mc Gowan from Oldcastle, Co Meath.

The man arrested in connection with the incident has been released without charge pending further investigations.

Gardaí in Baileboro are appealing for anyone who may have been on the N3 between Cavan and Virginia between 9.45am and 10.15am this morning to contact them.
