Young drivers urged to take extra care

Young drivers are being urged to take extra care on the roads this Christmas Eve.

Official Garda statistics show that while the overall number of road deaths here is falling, the number of young men being killed is on the rise.

Those in the 17 to 34 age group are most at risk.
