765 Defence Forces personnel abroad this Christmas

People are being asked to spare a thought for members of the Defence Forces who are abroad and away from their families this Christmas.

A total of 765 personnel are serving overseas as part of 10 different missions in 13 countries.

The largest contingent is in Chad, where more than 400 personnel will be spending the festive season at Camp Ciara in Goz Beida.
