Police in the North are questioning four men after foiling an attempted robbery in south Belfast yesterday evening.

Police in the North are questioning four men after foiling an attempted robbery in south Belfast yesterday evening.

The incident took place at a Mace shop on the Lisburn Road at around 4.30pm.

PSNI officers who were waiting at the scene rammed a car that arrived at the shop and ordered the driver to the ground.

A knife was recovered and four men were arrested for questioning.
