Simon Community holding 24-hour carolling session
Dublin's Simon Community is holding a 24-hour carolling session in the city centre today.
It is to raise money for the organisation's services over Christmas.
The carollers will sing into the early hours of tomorrow morning.
They hope to raise around €100,000 and make this an annual event.
Spokesperson Lorna Cronnelly said the money will be used for their services for homeless people such as emergency accommodation, supported housing and their soup run.
