Lenihan names public appointees to bank boards

Finance Minister Brian Lenihan has named the 12 public appointees who will sit on the boards of the six banks participating in the Government's guarantee scheme.

The panel includes former Finance Ministers Ray McSharry and Alan Dukes, former Tánaiste Dick Spring, former Agriculture Minister Joe Walsh and former Revenue Commissioners chairman Frank Daly.
