Cork is set to receive some positive news on the economic front today, with Quinn Insurance planning to create 350 new jobs in the city over the coming years.

Cork is set to receive some positive news on the economic front today, with Quinn Insurance planning to create 350 new jobs in the city over the coming years.

The positions will be located at a new base in Little Island.

Tánaiste Mary Coughlan will formally announce details of the project during a visit to Cork today.

She is also due to announce a new investment at a high-tech company that is expected to create more than 100 jobs.
