M50 lane 'should be for buses and car pools'

The new third lane of the M50 motorway should be given over to car pools and buses, an MEP insisted today.

Gay Mitchell has called for the extra carriageway to be a made a “high occupancy vehicle lane” during rush hour in an attempt to deal with Dublin’s chronic traffic problem.
