EU Parliament president welcomes report on Ireland’s future

The President of the European Parliament has welcomed the publication of yesterday's report on Ireland's future in the EU.

Hans-Gert Pottering said the report represents a further step forward in finding a way to respond to Ireland's rejection of the Lisbon treaty.
