Around 100 jobs to go in North

Almost 100 workers at a French-owned car components factory were told today they are to lose their jobs as the plant closes.

Calcast - which makes cylinder heads for the Ford Explorer 4x4 - blamed the shutdown of the plant at Campsie in Co Derry on the global financial crisis .
