Search begins for walker missing in Kerry mountains

Kerry Mountain Rescue has launched a search for a walker reported missing in the McGillycuddy Reeks.

The man's last known location was on top of the Big Run last night.

He contacted the hotel he was staying in Killarney to let them know where he was, but didn't return and cannot be contacted on his mobile phone.

The man is more than six feet in height and was carrying a walking stick and a small canvas bag.
