30 jobs to go at Offaly manufacturing company

Thirty jobs are to be lost in Co Offaly, following the news this afternoon that Grant Engineering in Birr is letting go workers with immediate effect.

The company, which manufactures heating boilers, has blamed the economic downturn for the loss of jobs.
