Man who burgled five premises in one night gets five years

A Blanchardstown man who burgled five premises in Swords in one night has been given a five-year sentence at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for these and other offences.

Jason Glennon (aged 31) told a staff member at a nursing home he was attempting to steal items from that he was there to visit his father and told a homeowner who disturbed him that he was in the house to read her meter.
