The suspected leader of the INLA in Dublin was further remanded in custody until next month when he appeared briefly at the Special Criminal Court today.

Declan Duffy, a 34-year-old native of Armagh City, with an address at Hanover St West, Dublin 8, is charged with membership of an illegal organisation styling itself the Irish National Liberation Army, otherwise the INLA, on June 22.

Today, prosecution solicitor Mr Michael O’ Donovan told the court that he was ready to serve the book of evidence in Duffy’s case. He applied for a further remand until next month and Duffy was remanded in custody until December 4 next.
