A 20-year-old man was fatally injured when the car he was driving collided with a wall at Newbawn, just off the N25 in Wexford just before 9pm last night.

A 20-year-old man was fatally injured when the car he was driving collided with a wall at Newbawn, just off the N25 in Wexford just before 9pm last night.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body taken to Wexford General Hospital.

There were two passengers in the car at the time - one of them has been taken to Wexford General Hospital for treatment.
