Two questioned over Finglas shooting
Gardaí are questioning two men in connection with the shooting of a man in Finglas in north Dublin at around midday yesterday.
The 41-year-old victim is in a critical but stable condition in the Mater Hospital.
Gardaí say the man was initially shot as he sat in a car and was shot again as he made his way to the garden of a house.
Two men, both in their 20s were arrested after the shooting.
They were taken to Blanchardstown and Finglas garda stations where they are being held under section 30 of The Offences Against The State Act.
A number of searches were carried out across the city yesterday.
A van, believed to have been used in the attack, has also been recovered.
