Digs continue for human remains in Wicklow
Diggers and forensic scientists are still working at the site near Blessington in Co. Wicklow where partial human remains, hoped to be those of missing Belfast man Danny McIlhone, were found earlier this week.
The 19-year-old left west Belfast in 1981 after allegedly taking arms from the IRA, but was tracked down in Dublin, killed and his body buried in secret.
Joint-Chair of the Commission for the Location of Victims' Remains Frank Murray said those working on the site are dedicated and hopeful of being able to help the McIlhone family by finding the rest of the body.
