Dublin Christmas lights to go on tomorrow

The Dublin City Business Association is calling on residents to support their local economy in the run up to the Christmas shopping spree.

The capital's Christmas lights will be switched on three weeks early this Sunday, in a bid to encourage consumer spending.

Business groups and the city council have spent more than €1m on new Christmas lights for the city.
