Pedestrian dies after being hit by lorry in Thurles

A pedestrian has died after being struck by the trailer of an articulated lorry in Co Tipperary this morning.

The 20-year-old man was walking on a footpath at Rossa Street in Thurles when he was struck by the vehicle at around 9am.
