Pedestrian killed in Donegal collision

A pedestrian has been killed in a road collision in Co Donegal.

It happened just before 1am this morning.

The man, who was in his early forties, was hit by a car while walking on the N15 between Ballyshannon and Donegal town.

The man’s body was removed to Letterkenny General Hospital.

The road remains closed this morning and the Garda Forensic Investigation team is at the scene.
