Education forum warns schools will close

Schools around the country will close as a result of the education cutbacks announced in the Budget according to the Post Primary Education Forum.

The group which represent teachers unions, management boards and parents have claimed that second level schools are facing chaos and will struggle to meet day-to- day running costs as a result of the measures.

A major protest supported by the Forum is set to take place outside the Dáil next Wednesday, where more post-Budget pressure will be laid on the Government.
