Gardaí are urging the public to look out for dyed bank noted that were stolen during an armed robbery Dublin earlier this week.

Gardaí are urging the public to look out for dyed bank notes that were stolen during an armed robbery Dublin earlier this week.

An undisclosed sum of cash was stolen from a security van making a lodgement at Cappagh Post Office in Finglas on Wednesday afternoon.

Gardaí say they believe the bank notes have been stained by a red security dye, but are already in circulation around Dublin.
