Emergency alert at Belfast airport

Fire and ambulance crews were scrambled after an alert on board a jet bound for Belfast International Airport from Murcia, Spain, this afternoon.

The aircraft landed safely.

There was an alert after problems were discovered on the Jet2 flight but all went well and the emergency was scaled down soon after it landed.
