The government has recorded a budget deficit for the first nine months of the year of over €9.4bn.

The government has recorded a budget deficit for the first nine months of the year of over €9.4bn.

The latest figures from the Department of Finance show that tax revenue was more than 11% behind profile and stands at almost €3.6m less than the budget forecast.
