Aer Lingus to meet unions on cost-cutting plans

Aer Lingus is due to begin a series of meetings with trade unions today to discuss its latest plan to cut tens of millions of euro from its cost base.

The company is understood to be planning €100m worth of cuts on top of the €20m in savings agreed with the unions earlier this year.
