Rate of borrowing growth at lowest level in six years

The rate of borrowing growth in Ireland is at a six-year low, according to the latest monthly statistics from the Central Bank.

The bank says the annual rate of increase in "private-sector credit" fell to 13% last month, the lowest rate since July 2002.
