40% willing to pay more taxes for better services

More than two-fifths of Irish people would be willing to pay more tax to fund improved public services, according to a survey commissioned by a leading think tank on social justice.

40% of respondents to the TASC survey said they were willing to pay more taxes, while 57% said they were not willing to do so.
