Expert warns Govt against increasing national debt

An expert on finance is warning the Government against increasing the national debt to unsustainable proportions in next month's Budget.

Professor of Finance at Trinity College Brian Lucey also said a pay freeze in the public sector will be needed to allow our economy to recover.
