Controlled explosion carried out amid bomb hoax
Army bomb disposal experts have carried out a controlled explosion on a car in north Dublin amid fears that it may contain a bomb.
Gardaà were tipped off about a possible explosive device in the car outside the Jolly Toper pub in Finglas this morning.
The area was evacuated and a controlled explosion was carried out, but no device was found inside the vehicle.
One man was shot dead and a second injured after they were gunned down by masked men at the Jolly Toper pub on Aug 23 of this year.
