Man injured in Derry attack

A man suffered a suspected broken wrist after he was set upon by a gang of five men in Derry, police said today.

The 34-year-old victim was targeted in the Nelson Drive area on Friday night by assailants who covered their faces with scarves.

He suffered bruising to his face and head as well as the suspected fracture. Detectives have appealed for anybody with information to contact them.
