New poll shows fall in support for FF

The first political poll of the autumn will make worrying reading for Brian Cowen's Government this morning.

The Red C poll in today's Sunday Business Post shows that support for Fianna Fáil has dropped four points since June and is now at 36%, while Fine Gael gained three points to 28%.

It also showed that half of voters do not trust the Government to manage the public finances out of the current downturn.
