Consumers starting to vote with their feet

Consumers battling the credit crunch are saving more than €30 a week in their grocery bills by shopping around, it emerged today.

More than half of all shoppers are now choosing where to buy their groceries based on the price of goods for the first time ever, with fewer opting for convenience.
