Search for body in Cork river to conclude

Members of the Garda Water Unit are to finish their underwater search of the River Bandon in Cork today.

It began following a reported sighting of a body in the water in Bandon town.

They have eliminated the chance of finding anything on the river between Bandon town and Innishannon following an extensive search.

The focus is now set to turn to another part of the river between Innishannon and Kinsale.
