Five injured in Ballinasloe crash

Five people have been injured in a two-car collision in Galway.

The crash happened at Garbally, one kilometre west of Ballinasloe on the N6 Dublin to Galway road this afternoon.

Five people were taken to Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.

The HSE says three people are being treated for minor injuries and two are more seriously injured.

Traffic diversions have now been lifted at the scene.
