Bird strike causes Ryanair flight delay

Passengers due to fly with Ryanair from Faro in Portugal to Shannon last night have been delayed after their plane experienced a bird strike.

The plane was landing in Faro when the incident occurred. A subsequent inspection of the engine cleared it for take off.
